System Requirements
The system requirements for BRU PE are quite minimal. However, be aware that the speed of your backups will greatly depend on the capabilities of your system. A QuadCore Mac Pro with 4GB of RAM will be able to push an LTO-4 tape drive much faster than a PPC G3 with 1GB of RAM.
The requirements in order to be able to run and use BRU PE are as follows:
- Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher. However, 10.4.9 and 10.4.10 are not supported.
- Enough memory to run your operating system.
- Approximately 12MB of disk space plus room for archive catalog storage.
